Welcome to Deer Lake Orchard!

We are a family-run orchard just outside of Buffalo, Minnesota.

At Deer Lake Orchard our goal is to give a great experience with your apples!

Come visit with the animals, take a leisurely wagon ride through the maple forest get lost in our corn maze and create lifelong memories with your family.

 

Looking for a unique place to host your wedding? We have a 100 year old barn that will provide the perfect backdrop. 

Grad Party? Yes we host those as well!

What is Currently Available?

 

We will be closing for the season on October 25th. (Thank-you winter weather!)

 

We still have lots of great apples left.

After we are closed feel free to reach out to us to schedule a pick up of apples.

Haunted Hayrides will be cancelled for October 23rd and the 30th.

Dogs are permitted on leashes. Not allowed in the barn or on the wagons.

 

COVID Policies

As we begin the 2020 apple season we have formulated a plan to keep our employees and customers as safe as possible. Thes policies have been made by incorporating guidelines from the CDC and the Minnesota Department of Health.

 

Please adhere to the following recommendations and we look forward to seeing you all soon.


If you or anyone in your household, or have any symptoms related with COVID-19 please stay at home:

  • Please use social distancing practices while visiting Deer Lake Orchard
  • All guests are to wear masks when in the buildings, on our wagon rides or in any situation when social distancing is not possible.

 

We have adapted these protective measures for the safety of our customers and employees:

  • All employees will be wearing masks when assisting customers
  • The animal area will be viewing only, sorry to more feeding the animals (they are as sad as you are!)
  • Masks are to be worn on the wagon rides as well as practice physical distancing
  • There will be no music this year.
  • Sneeze-guard barriers have been installed at our cash registers
  • Disinfectant and wipes are available for all customers and employees
  • To assist with crowds we ask that if possible please visit the orchard during the week rather than on the weekend.
  • The above policies may change at anytime
