BEACON Early apple. Good for sauces & pie. Stays in chunks. Late August	ZESTAR Crisp, juicy, early apple. Great for eating New from U of M "An early Honeycrisp" Mid to Late August	RED BARON Crisp & juicy. Sweet/tart flavor. Cooks firm. Good for pie, sauce and freezing Mid September	FIRESIDE Very hard & sweet. Stays in slices when cooked like Connell Red Late September
CONELL RED Mild, sweet, low acid apple. Great eating and baked whole. Stays in slices Late September	MARYVILLE Good baking, bakes soft. Sweet, tangy eating	MINJON Tart. Makes pink sauce. Cooks soft. Good eating & cooking Early October	REGENT Sweet, juicy, hard, & excellent keeper. Good for eating or baking. Stays in slices when cooked. Early October
WEALTHY Good eating and best cooking. Juicy. Early September	LAKELAND “Early Haralson”. Great eating & cooking. Stays in slices. Early apples are tart, late are sweet. SWEET SIXTEEN Sweet & spicy. Great eating. Stays in slices when cooked Mid September	CORTLAND Sweet/tart, delicious flavor. Cooks down a little. Slices stay white in salad. Hint of nutty flavor. Early to Mid September	DOLGO CRAB The best jelly crab. Tastes like cherries in pies and pastries. Good for pickles. Mid August


Our CIDER is FRESHLY PRESSED in our cider room. Deerlake has been pressing delicious cider for over twenty years. Each batch is special because it contains different varieties of apples as the season progresses. Because apple varieties have their own distinct tastes and textures, our cider may vary in color and body, but it is always fabulous and oh, so healthy. CIDER CAN BE FROZEN, stored for long periods of time, defrosted and enjoyed with the same flavor as when first frozen. So STOCK UP when you visit us!!!!


	* FROZEN U-BAKE PIES ARE AVAILABLE* We take our fresh apples to a fabulous bakery, they hand make a crust, peel our apples and make an old fashion delicious pie especially for DEERLAKE ORCHARD. We have our steadfast customers that can’t wait for our season to start so they can enjoy our pies. OUR PIES ARE PART OF OH, SO MANY FAMILIES' HOLIDAYS! MAKE THEM PART OF YOURS!
